Please let us know if you have any questions or if any of your clients consider taking advantage of this exciting new development.
In May 2012, we released Tabs3 Transporter, a new and improved program for converting Timeslips client and detail accounts receivable data to Tabs3. Due to popular demand, we recently changed Tabs3 Transporter so that you can now use it with a Tabs3 Trial system to convert a user’s Timeslips data. This makes it possible to convert a client’s data to a Tabs3 Trial system, so the firm can see their data in Tabs3 BEFORE they buy the software.
Don’t forget about this robust, easy-to-use conversion program. It may just help you make that sale to the firm who’s been on the fence. You can get the most current version of Tabs3 Transporter at www.Tabs3.com/support/utilities.html. Happy converting!
Tip: We recommend always downloading the most current version of Tabs3 Transporter every time you convert a client’s Timeslips data in order to take advantage of any recently implemented program changes.
PracticeMaster Upgrades
Nov 2
Recently we added a new feature to PracticeMaster that allows Version 16.2 users to activate additional PracticeMaster user licenses online. There are a few things to remember:
- This upgrade method is available for orders that are PracticeMaster upgrades only.
- The upgrade must remain within their existing PracticeMaster level (Basic, Premier or Platinum).
- A firm must be on Version 16.2 before downloading additional users.
- Their serial number will not change with this upgrade.
- This will be the fastest method of upgrading users, but sending the upgrade on a CD is still an option.
- These orders will require a prepaid method such as credit card or check, so please plan your orders accordingly.
- There are no shipping charges associated with these orders, but there will be a $25 processing fee to cover additional in-house procedures.
Once the order has been processed, you will receive your invoice via e-mail along with brief instructions for the firm to upgrade to their new active user level. It’s simply a matter of them going to Help | Internet Resources | Upgrade Active User Limit. If you have questions regarding this type of upgrade, please contact a member of the Sales Department at 402-419-2200.
A new PracticeMaster training video for filtering has been posted to the Internet. This video provides a quick introduction to filtering, the new Filter Editor window, and where filtering is used in PracticeMaster. You can view the Filtering Overview training video at http://www.tabs3.com/videos.
Did you know that we now post all of our training videos on the Internet? We moved the training videos to the Internet when we released Version 16.2 in September. You can find the training videos at http://www.tabs3.com/videos. There are more than 70 Tabs3 videos and more than 30 PracticeMaster videos available with over 9 hours of information! Our Training Video Library can be a great resource for you and your clients, especially for those firms that want self-guided training or those firms with new employees. The easiest way for users to access the training videos is to select the Help | Training Videos menu options in Tabs3 and PracticeMaster.

Net 30 Reminder
Oct 8
There’s been more interest than ever in Platinum because of the Version 16.2 release, and the buzz Tabs3 Connect has created. As a reminder, we offer Net 30 terms to make it easy on existing clients to upgrade to Platinum without spending money up front. These terms are available for any firm upgrading to Platinum or Platinum SQL, or for any firm upgrading from regular Platinum to Platinum SQL. Once Platinum or Platinum SQL is installed, a firm is usually quite reluctant to return the product because the benefits more than outweigh the cost. If you have questions about the Net 30 terms, please contact a member of the Sales Department.
