Tabs3 and PracticeMaster Language Style Guide

To make our brands as strong as possible, we require all consultants to use ours brands consistently. Please review your marketing materials and web site to make sure you are properly using the names of our products.

Tabs3:

Correct: Tabs3
Incorrect: Tabs, TABS, TABS3, Tabs 3, Tabsiii

Also, Tabs3 can refer to more than just the billing software. To avoid confusion, it’s best to always introduce the billing software by its full name, (“Tabs3 Billing Software“). Thereafter, it is acceptable to refer to the billing product as “Tabs3.” See a full list of Tabs3 product names at the end of this document.

PracticeMaster Practice Management Software:

Correct: PracticeMaster
Incorrect: Practice Master, Practicemaster

List of PracticeMaster family of product names:

  • PracticeMaster
  • PracticeMaster Platinum

Trademarks:

Since both Tabs3 and PracticeMaster are registered trademarks, it is necessary to denote that with the ® symbol. However, this only needs to be done on the first mention of the products on the page. Following the first use, it is not necessary to continue to include the symbol.

License vs. Software

Finally, it’s important to never imply ownership of the software. We sell limited licenses to use the software and do not sell the software itself.

For example, instead of:

“Tabs3 Billing Software comes with a FREE copy of PracticeMaster Basic!”

Use:

“Tabs3 Billing Software comes with a FREE one user license of PracticeMaster Basic!”

It is acceptable to use the term “product” where it makes sense (for example: “let us get your Tabs3 products up and running quickly”), as we consider our product to be the license rather than the software.
