There are plenty of new documentation sources available on our web site to help you sell and support Version 17. This includes guides, manuals, report packs, training videos, and more. They can be found at http://www.tabs3.com/support/docs.html.

The Knowledge Base also covers a variety of Version 17 items. Version 17 Information and Resources is a “must see” article containing links to over 20 additional articles covering such items as conversion information, new features, integration, and troubleshooting, just to name a few. Visit What’s New in the Knowledge Base on the main page, as many of the new articles listed pertain to Version 17. Happy selling and supporting!

Important Forum Dates and Information

The Reseller Forum is coming up fast!  Below are important dates to remember:

  • March 11 – Early bird deadline (Register here)
  • March 19 – Special room rate ends (Call Embassy Suites at 402-474-1111 and refer to the Software Technology group rate).  Time is running out, and the hotel expects to be full that weekend.  Book now if you’re considering coming, as you will have the option to cancel later.
  • April 10 – Reseller Pre-Forum (send your ideas or suggestions to Donald Coker)
  • April 11 & 12 – Reseller Forum (all the fun people will be there!)
  • OMALiNK shuttle to/from Omaha and Lincoln – Make reservations at least 24 hours prior to arrival or departure (402-475-5465, or online at www.omalink.com)

Version 17 Updates

The process of updating firms to Version 17 has begun!  E-mails will be sent to thousands of firms eligible to download Version 17 over the next few months.

These notifications will include:

  • Version 17 highlights
  • A link to download Version 17
  • Conversion instructions
  • A complete What’s New list

When firms download they will have an option to notify their resellers as part of the download.  If they select this option, your office will receive this e-mail, “One of your Tabs3 clients just downloaded an update, and asked that you be notified. The firm’s details are below. Please contact the firm and offer to assist with both the conversion, and training their staff on the new features.”  As a reminder, firms on maintenance can update now, and you do not need to wait for them to receive their notification.

Changes to Download Page

When downloading an update for Tabs3 software from our download page, firms will now need to enter a Contact Name, E-mail Address, Zip Code and Serial Number. The Zip Code field was not required previously. Download pages for Versions 15 and higher will be affected by this change.

New “Copy All” Feature

We recently added the ability to copy all records from any list to the Windows clipboard using Ctrl+Alt+C. Although Ctrl+C copies all selected records, there previously was no way to copy all records from lists that did not allow more than one record to be selected. This new Copy All feature works on all lists, and is available in all Version 17.1.1.807 or later products.

Shipping Charges for 2014

We recently made minor changes to shipping costs to adjust for price increases by UPS. Below are new shipping costs for COD and prepaid letters. Please contact a member of the Sales Department at 402-419-2200 to verify prices such as any order containing multiple CDs or conversion instructions, Saturday delivery, or shipping beyond the lower 48 states.
