New PracticeMaster WorkFlows Guide & Newsletter Feature

We are pleased to announce that a new PracticeMaster WorkFlows Guide is now available. The PracticeMaster WorkFlows Guide has been created to help make WorkFlows less intimidating by providing ideas on how to use WorkFlows, a step-by-step walk-through for a sample WorkFlow, feature-by-feature information, and more. WorkFlows can be a powerful tool used to save time, help prevent tasks from slipping through the cracks, and reduce mistakes.

The new WorkFlows Guide is now available on our Documentation page at Tabs3.com/docs. Our Documentation page includes links for manuals, guides, report packs, training videos, and more. It’s a great way to learn our products, and a great resource for existing customers and prospects. Check it out!

We also wanted to let you know about another new resource for WorkFlows. Have you noticed the new Working with WorkFlows feature in the User Newsletter? This recently implemented newsletter feature focuses on WorkFlows every month by showcasing a walk-through of a WorkFlow with in-depth information on how WorkFlows work! We hope that this monthly feature will become a great resource for both new and seasoned users. You can view the Tabs3 newsletter at http://newsletter.tabs3.com.

Updated PCI Compliance Requirements

As you know, one of the reasons ProPay was a great option for our clients and for you was because instead of being required to fill out a 200+ questionnaire every year in order to remain compliant and accept credits, there was either going to be no PCI compliance required or a simpler questionnaire.

Up until recently, there was no requirement to fill out any questionnaire, however, we were just informed that as of January 1, 2017, there will now be a simpler questionnaire to confirm compliance. You and your clients will be contacted over the next few months by ControlScan requiring completion of an SAQ-D compliance questionnaire, in addition to paying a $75 fee, to remain compliant and to continue accepting credit cards.

If you have any questions regarding the PCI compliance requirement, please contact your assigned TSYS merchant advocate or contact ProPay at [email protected].

New Additions to President’s Circle

As you know, the 2017 President’s Circle member list was posted last week. I would like to congratulate those who were not members of this prestigious group last year and reached this distinction for 2017. Be sure to congratulate them if you get an opportunity. The Forum is a great time to do so!

  • Jeff Levine of The Systems Shop in New York, NY
  • Ileene Levine of Ileene K. Levine Consulting in Milwaukee, WI

Enhancement to CalendarRules Integration

We’ve added a new feature to make it easier to create Calendar Plans using CalendarRules integration. When selecting the trigger item for a new Calendar Plan, you can now enter any phrase, word, or partial word in the name of the trigger item. Doing so opens a Trigger Lookup window that shows every trigger item with that word or phrase. Previously you had to select from an alphabetical list of trigger names. This new feature makes it easier to find the trigger item you need, especially when dealing with courts that have dozens or hundreds of available rules. Firms transitioning from CompuLaw will also appreciate this feature because trigger names may not be exactly the same.

This new feature is available with 18.1.4.634 and later. You can learn more about CalendarRules integration in the following resources:

  • Knowledge Base Article R11713 – CalendarRules Integration Overview
  • Recorded Webinar – CalendarRules Integration with PracticeMaster – http://forms.tabs3.com/cr
