Software Packages

When receiving orders from us, it is important to carefully inspect the contents of any package prior to forwarding on, or delivering it to your customers.  You want to be sure you have received the proper materials, and that nothing has been damaged during transit.  Potential issues can be resolved much sooner, and it can prevent delays with clients.

There are rare occasions when packages arrive damaged, and you should notify us immediately so that we can file a claim.  In this event we will send a replacement at no charge, using the same shipping method used to send the original package.  We will replace a damaged program master disk if notified within 7 days of delivery, so be sure to review it upon arrival.

Hold on to the package until you’ve received verification from us that a claim has been settled.  It can be discarded at that point.  If you ever receive a package that is obviously damaged prior to even opening, simply refuse it noting the reason that the package was damaged and call us immediately.

Forum WorkFlow Contest Information

Description:

The WorkFlow Contest is designed to encourage resellers and consultants to expand their understanding of the power that WorkFlows can have for PracticeMaster clients.

Contest Rules:

Each Reseller or Consultant shall submit one WorkFlow per e-mail to our judging panel (to [email protected]) by February 28, at 4:00 PM.  We ask that each company submit no more than 2 entries.  Each entry submitted shall include an export file with the WorkFlow, a listing of any additional fields that need to be added to a file (or an AOP export, for WorkFlows involving custom changes or custom AOPs), a brief summary of the benefits or reason for the WorkFlow, and the steps necessary to activate the WorkFlow.

After the WorkFlows have been received, our committee will install and review all submissions. Each submission will be considered based on originality, usefulness, and ROI.

The finalists (top 3-5 entrants) will be notified a week prior to the Forum, and given 10 minutes to demonstrate their WorkFlow during the first day of the Forum.  This demonstration will be held in the main room, and all attendees will get a chance to vote for the winning WorkFlow.

Prize:

All finalists will receive:

  • Praise and adoration from their peers
  • A certificate listing their achievement
  • A listing on the eNews website, indicating what their WorkFlow can do, along with contact information for that reseller

The winner will receive:

APS Check Ordering

Do your clients plan on reordering Tabs3 Accounts Payable (APS) checks this year?  If so, consider the following. A new check format will be available when Version 16 is released. Version 16 has a new Memo field for each invoice that can be printed on the check. Therefore, consider having clients order a smaller quantity of checks than usual, so that once they receive Version 16, they can order the new checks and take advantage of the new Memo field. We plan on sending out Version 16 to all maintenance users before the end of the year. Keep in mind that they can still use their old checks with Version 16, but they will not be able to print the memo on the check unless they have the new check form (L1572).

Name Change for First National Merchant Solutions

First National Merchant Solutions (FNMS), the company that provides merchant accounts that integrate with Tabs3 products, recently informed us they have been acquired by a company called TSYS (pronounced tee-sis).  TSYS already owned a majority of FNMS, but they recently purchased the remainder of the FNMS stock.

The only change that affects us should be the name used when talking about our credit card authorization feature.  We will start to update our materials with their new name right away, “TSYS Merchant Solutions SM, formerly First National Merchant Solutions®”.  The links and email addresses for FNMS that we use today will continue to work for the foreseeable future.   Contact your respective sales representative at 402-419-2200 with questions.
