Price Estimator

We hope everyone is enjoying the look and feel of the new Home Page and Knowledge Base sites!  Our previous site included the Price Estimator which was used by prospects and consultants alike to determine retail pricing.  Our new pricing page prompts firms that have 6 or more users/timekeepers to complete a brief intake form to receive a price quote.  This allows us to capture information to generate a lead.  We follow up with a custom quote to these firms and provide consultant contact information.  Firms with 5 or fewer users can use the Price Estimator on the web site, but they are also encouraged to request a custom quote so we can capture their lead information as well.  In addition to standard license costs, we now include subscription pricing for firms of this size.

For those of you that used the original Price Estimator to obtain retail pricing for all firm sizes, it is still available.  It’s located at http://support.tabs3.com/pricing/pricing_info.aspx with a link right here on eNews under Discount Rates | Pricing Calculator.  This link is intended for consultant use only.  Please do not share with prospects or clients.

New Tabs3 Website!

The new Tabs3 website is now live so check it out! We hope you like the changes and new modern look. We’re proud of all the work and effort that went into it. Be sure to let DeAnna Masterson know if you have suggestions or notice anything that doesn’t look correct.

You’ll notice on the new website that pricing is only provided for small firms. Mid-sized firms and larger will be required to fill out minimal firm information before they receive pricing which will allow us to capture more leads to share.  This Consultant Pricing Page link is for consultants only, and will take you to the original Price Estimator that includes pricing at all levels. This link will soon be available on eNews.

Rest assured, we will continue to work with any other hosting provider that our clients choose. Our relationship with ProCirrus simply makes it easier to help a firm that is looking for a hosting provider to know where to start. Furthermore, we will not suggest to clients that they switch hosting providers.

Email Template to use for lost Platinum Prospects

Below is an email you should send to lost Platinum prospects that are solos and small firms regarding the reduction in subscription pricing. Price reductions go into effect today!

He let me know that they are reducing the price of monthly subscriptions for Tabs3 and PracticeMaster software by 20%!  This is a great way to access advanced features at a low monthly price. Use Tabs3 Connect to enter time from any device with an internet connection, HotBackup to back up your data any time, even schedule backups, and much more. Users on maintenance still receive 25% off in the first year, and 15% in the second year.

Version 19 Introduction to New Features

A new article (Version 19 Introduction to New Features – R11744) has been posted to Knowledge Base pertaining to our upcoming Version 19 release. This article contains an introduction to new features including Theme Settings, Quick Launch, Tabbed Interface, Home Page and Font Changes. There are numerous screen shots in this article to help illustrate new features and functionality. You’ll also find a What’s New List for each individual program.  It’s a great way to learn about Version 19!

Version 19 Pre-Release

Soon we will solicit pre-release users for Version 19. We will begin by including an article in our upcoming online user newsletter to be published on February 1st. Firms who have opted in to receive our newsletter by email will receive a newsletter email notification on February 6th (i.e., the first Tuesday of the month). All firms will receive a notice about the newsletter’s availability on February 15th when starting Tabs3 software. The newsletter article will include information about features and provide a link to sign up for pre-release.

We’re very excited about this upcoming release! Stay tuned for information about signing up your own firms for pre-release.

    New features include the ability to include a ProPay link with your emailed statements in order to receive online payments, the option to apply a single payment to multiple matters, a graphical recap of hours, reordering fees with the same date on statements, and printing a credit memo! Additionally, entering a credit for paid transactions will now automatically apply the credit to accounts receivable when the statement is updated!
  • PracticeMaster – Designate Restricted Fields, and more!
    New features include being able to prevent the editing of specific fields, a graphical recap of hours, and the ability to create journal records from multiple Outlook email messages at the same time!
  • General Ledger Software – Statement of Cash Flows Report and Advanced Client Costs Report!
    New features include a Statement of Cash Flows Report, which shows how changes in Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts affect the firm’s cash flow; and an Advanced Client Costs Report, which makes it easier to reconcile advanced client costs between Tabs3, Accounts Payable (APS), and General Ledger (GLS)!
  • Accounts Payable Software – Designate Vendors and Bank Accounts as Inactive, EFT Transaction Type, and more!
    New features include the ability to mark vendors and bank accounts as inactive, record invoices that were paid electronically (EFTs), and more!

New Firm Welcome Packets

As you know, we stopped sending out CDs with new orders.  We used to send out a few materials with CDs and we decided that even though we’re no longer shipping them, we will still send a welcome packet to every new firm.

The new welcome packet will be implemented in two phases. The first phase is already underway and the second phase will be implemented before Version 19. The content in these documents does not circumvent consultant services like training and support. We are only providing Tabs3 support contact information and links to helpful documentation.

The contents of the welcome packet are as follows:

  • Tabs3 pens
  • Letter from Dan Berlin
  • Nelco and ProPay integration sheets
  • Quick start guides
  • Tabs3 Installation Resources sheet

Instead of sending these packets to you and having you forward them to your clients, we will be sending these packets directly to the firm.

Subscription Pricing is Now Available!

We’re excited to announce that orders can now be placed with subscription pricing!

As a reminder, subscription pricing is available exclusively for Platinum SQL. This allows you to install, train, and customize the most feature-rich level of Tabs3 software to help clients become even more productive.

Tabs3 Billing is $40/month per timekeeper, PracticeMaster is $40/month per user, and Tabs3 Financial software is $10/month per timekeeper.

Changes to the Pricing Page

As of July 6th, our pricing page was changed to be easier for our clients and prospects to read and understand. You can view it here: http://www.tabs3.com/products/pricing_info.aspx

You’ll notice a few major changes:
• We swapped the columns and rows, so the level of software is on the top and the separate products are along the left side.
• We took off maintenance prices for the respective products and just have a total maintenance price under the total price.
• We also hyperlinked the software levels, so when you hover over them, it gives a brief explanation of what that level of software includes.
