Tabs3 and PracticeMaster Version 16 software was updated recently to check for the use of Offline Files. Offline Files is the name of a Windows technology that allows the computer to store a copy of network files locally so you can continue working with the files when the network is not available. Because of the many problems inherent with this feature in conjunction with a multi-user database environment, we now check the status of this optional Windows feature. If the Offline Files feature is active with the Tabs3 and PracticeMaster software, Tabs3 and PracticeMaster will not run.
Knowledge Base article R11450, “Offline Files Not Supported in Tabs3 and PracticeMaster Software”, includes additional information and detailed instructions regarding how to disable Offline Files.
The Version 16 PracticeMaster Quick Guides have been updated and posted. Quick Guides are available for the following PracticeMaster features:

- Journaling
- Outlook E-mail Plug-in

On a regular basis, new formats for our Taskbill software are added or modified. If you have requests from one of your clients for a new or modified format, please contact our Support Department to see if it is already available. Time Matters Version 10 SP3 includes an update to their integration with Tabs3. This change allows Time Matters to integrate with Tabs3 Version 15. Client information and billing transactions can both integrate between Time Matters and Tabs3. The Knowledge Base articles below contain additional information regarding this integration.
