The updated Tabs3 Transporter is ready for download!  We’ve completed our testing in addition to converting various datasets in-house.  This update now allows customers to convert from any version of Timeslips starting with 10 and later.

As you know Tabs3Pay is an efficient and cost effective way for your firms to accept credit cards in Tabs3 Software.  There are no monthly fees and rates are very competitive, you can even ask about price matching.  As a consultant, you can earn $100 per firm approval and an additional $200 once the firm processes $5,000 in charges.  This money would be included in quarterly checks we send for subscription and CosmoLex commissions.

Make sure you’re aware of all the resources available to familiarize yourself with the process of signing your firms up for Tabs3Pay as well as its features.  A Tabs3Pay sandbox is available to all certified consultants for testing and demoing.  Using Tabs3Pay in Test Mode is a document specifically created for consultants containing details for using the test account.  Email [email protected] to request the sandbox.  You can also get an account through Tabs3Pay for your own firm.  To set up an account for your own firm, use the Tabs3Pay portal within Tabs3 software to register for a full account.

To make our Installation Guide easier to use we’ve separated it into three different guides:

• Pre-Install Guide
• Post-Install Guide
• Platinum Setup Guide

We had a few goals for this process:

• Reduce the overall page count to make the installation process less intimidating. We’ve gone from 51 pages in the original guide to 29 total (6 of which are cover/copyright pages and 13 of which are Platinum-exclusive).
• Improve the flow so that we’re explaining concepts in the appropriate order, such as covering server and network configuration concepts before the installation, and software configuration concepts after the installation.
• Move the Platinum configuration steps to a separate guide so non-Platinum firms aren’t confused by steps that don’t apply to them.

I just wanted to remind everyone that as of June 15, 2021 we will no longer support Version 18 of Tabs3 software. Firms have been notified and they will also be reminded of this important date when speaking with support or reading our online newsletter.

Use your QBR to determine which of your firms are on Version 18 and older.  Some of them may need to pay for an update while those on maintenance simply need to install the latest version.  Hopefully this will generate sales, service work, or both!
