To make our Installation Guide easier to use we’ve separated it into three different guides:
We had a few goals for this process:
- Reduce the overall page count to make the installation process less intimidating. We’ve gone from 51 pages in the original guide to 29 total (6 of which are cover/copyright pages and 13 of which are Platinum-exclusive).
- Improve the flow so that we’re explaining concepts in the appropriate order, such as covering server and network configuration concepts before the installation, and software configuration concepts after the installation.
- Move the Platinum configuration steps to a separate guide so non-Platinum firms aren’t confused by steps that don’t apply to them.
