An access code was previously required when setting up integration between the Exchange Connector and a firm’s Exchange server. It is now officially released, and this access code is no longer required for PracticeMaster versions 16.1.2.1112 and greater. These changes were posted on March 30, and are available for download. See KB Article R11427 (Configuring the PracticeMaster Platinum Exchange Connector) for information regarding the Exchange Connector.
Exchange Connector Advantages
- PracticeMaster and Outlook stay synchronized, even when PracticeMaster is not open on your workstation.
- Only one “administrative” Exchange user needs access rights to other users.
- Periodic synchronization occurs at the server reducing network traffic.
- The Exchange Connector performs a single periodic synchronization for all users, ensuring that everyone is up-to-date.
- Access rights to users’ Exchange folders are automatically assigned to the “administrative” user as they log into PracticeMaster.
- Only requires that PracticeMaster be running on one computer in the office for synchronization to occur for all users.
