Version 16 Changes

Based on feedback from users, the following program enhancements were made in version 16.

PracticeMaster

In September of 2011, a Keep Linked check box was added to the Calendar editor in version 16 to indicate whether the calendar record is part of a series of linked calendar records. When a calendar entry was made with only one User assigned to it, the Keep Linked check box was cleared upon saving the entry.

Beginning with version 16.1.2.1054 dated 1/23/2012 and later, if the check box is cleared and a single user has been selected, the Keep Linked check box will be automatically selected upon saving the record. This is done to ensure that any users added to the User/Group field of the record at a later time will be linked by default.

Accounts Payable (APS)

APS users with access rights to Post Checks, Void Posted Checks, Post Unpaid Invoices, Unpost Unpaid Invoices, or Unpost Single Unpaid Invoice programs no longer need rights to add journal entries in GLS in order for APS to automatically post applicable GLS journal entries.

Time Matters Integration

Currently our documentation states that Tabs3 version 16 does not integrate with Time Matters. However, we recently received word from LexisNexis that they will not be changing their Time Matters software to integrate with version 16 of Tabs3.  Therefore we have added the following statement to our documents:

Note:  Tabs3 version 16 does not integrate with any version of Time Matters.  LexisNexis® was provided with the Tabs3 file formats and have elected not to integrate with the current version of Tabs3 at this time. Please contact LexisNexis® with any questions regarding their decision.
